A full frame Nikon d700 (unmodified) was added to the observatory. From top to bottom (image above), we have the Stellarvue SVS130 astrograph, the Stellarvue SV70T, and the Nikon d700. Mounted on the d700 is the Sigma 85 mm f1.4 HSM art lens. The d700 is remotely controlled using Backyard Nikon (https://www.otelescope.com/store/product/4-backyardnikon-10-premium-edition-otl-byn-p/) or ControlMyNikon (https://www.tetherscript.com/controlmynikon-home/). Both softwares are very capable and offer a wealth of control features, however, my preference is ControlMyNikon (more responsive and faster image downloads).

The field of view (FOV) from the Nikon is a staggering 1435 x 960 arcmins or 23.91 x 16 degrees. Framing and centering around the trapezium stars of Orion, the d700 can nearly capture the entire constellation (above). Also shown in the image is the FOV comparisons, from smallest to largest being SVS130, SV70T, and the Nikon d700.

Milkyway shots or the rich gaseous regions around/near Cygnus and Cepheus would be interesting targets to capture with this new addition.
